I bought this unit because of the features and also because it looks almost like a factory radio. I didn't have JBL or navigation for my original radio. No additional connectors need to be purchased. The supplied instructions are small and do not really exist. I thought I was missing a connector but I was wrong as not all the original Prius connectors are connected to the new radio as some of them are combined. The included GPS wouldn't load and I couldn't get the SD card to work with supposedly free maps. However, I downloaded SYGIC GPS from App Store (free offline maps) and it works fine. I also thought the steering wheel controls were broken but I was wrong there is an app for the radio to show what you want. It's very simple and you should select it because it doesn't install anything on the first connection. I changed the color of the dial to match the color of the leds on the underside of the car to match the color and dimmed them at night as there is a timer. The only real issue I have is that the internal mic isn't very good. I ordered an external microphone that should just plug into the adapter that came with it. I will update the installed one. For now I would buy again. Update: Bluetooth phone is terrible. I bought an external microphone and it's still terrible. I returned it.
