Amazing set has pretty much everything you need

I want to start using this set for both professionals and hobbyists. The parts I use the most are: 3 different bits, putty knife, plastic tool, magnetic mat, tweezers and picks. The truth is that, like all other sets, you rarely, if ever, have to use all of the things in it. Usually you will use some of them frequently depending on your main purpose. The beauty is that you are prepared for these rare events to actually happen. I haven't come across a screw that I couldn't get out with this kit (okay, except for the ones that require a socket wrench). Durability is solid... most of the time. My only real complaint about the kit is that it only comes with a black spatula and two plastic tools. I use both equally, maybe the peek tool is a bit more since it's used to open devices. While the pry tool will certainly show wear as it doesn't retain its color on the tips, it is holding up very well. Spudger (like most spudgers you can get your hands on) is not. The pointed part is ok, the flat edge is starting to break and I'll have to look for more soon. Given the difference in durability between these items, I have a feeling that one of the tool slots could have made room for a second spudger, but that might just be my nitpicking. As for the attachments I use, I use quite a bit. They're yet to wear out or become less efficient, and when they do there's another of the same size as a backup. The driver himself is fantastically manageable. I used to take kits from colleagues in other companies and repairs weren't as smooth with them as with this kit. Make sure you're using the right attachment for what you need. With so many options and so many close together, this is important as making the wrong choice can make screw removal easier. This is not meant to mean anything against the kit, just some general advice. TLDR: inexpensive, mostly durable, a second paddle would be nice, great feel, all the parts you'll likely ever need.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Good for the most part, but...
