The quality of every item in this kit is below basement... You'll have to replace everything

update. So now I've made some candles and bought various wax wicks etc. This hate kit will be the worst quality ever. To be honest, the wax you use when you're done will make your candles look frosty because it's the cheapest wax. The wicks are of poor quality, the jars arrive dented. And the pouring picture they give you is basically what you would see at Starbucks when they heat the milk. It's small and pretty useless, spilling everywhere. In the end I found the thermometer at least good... No, I immediately ordered another one. You have a miniature painting that cannot even support the weight of a thermometer and a spoon at the same time, in order not to tip over you have to hold both while stirring. Seriously, for a newbie it was a nightmare! I now have a thermometer that can actually be clamped onto a much larger crock pot and I have switched to getting the wax from the coconut wood wick mix. Also, I just threw away the scent that comes with the kit. I did an entire bottle of .33 lavender in 1/4 lb and it had literally no smell at all. For a quarter pound it should do, at least without a hint of flavor. So you literally get the cheapest oils, the cheapest labors, the cheapest tens, the cheapest wax, the cheapest thermometer, the smallest cheap cast, the picture and the instructions on how to start after your wax has melted. You have to go online to read how to do it all. My suggestion is to go to a company that makes candles and get your kit from them. There is nothing in this set that I wouldn't use and I bought two of these, one for me and one for my sister. I hate writing bad reviews like this but love making candles when I realized the kit I was working with wasn't good and I got the best stuff, it's so much fun. Bait and Switch... Look at the picture. You don't get that jellied pot. He's great looking, he's got a lip to pour wax out of. This is not what you will receive, you will receive a pot with a full round top. This is misleading advertising. I actually feel like I should refund the $10 because I had to buy another pot for stewing as the one that came in it doesn't work! ShadyOK, so the set is worthy! It's well packaged and looks great. However......you really need to take a moment and correct your itinerary. This is a starter kit, which implies that the person ordering it may not know how to make candles. Your instructions start with pouring wax with no instruction on how to melt it properly! Don't you think a large part of the candle making process is missing here? Like other reviewers I had to go elsewhere to find out how to do this because your instructions are awful and lazy! You should fix this, it's a starter kit with very incomplete instructions. UPDATE: You must purchase your own flower jug. The one provided has no angle at the end, so it's almost impossible to pour it into these small candles, or even the big ones, without spilling it all. Haven't poured out the wax we haven't spilled no matter how careful I am. The design of the inflator is not ideal. I will buy one because I don't like to spill everything.
