Media failed to load. This is my second WEN product (the first was a chainsaw) and I'm impressed with both. I use pin nails a lot and this is my 4th pin nailer that has gone through 2 porter and 1 hitachi cables. So I use them a lot and have good experiences to compare. I did a quick aggressive test of this nailer and its holder. Read my impressions. -- NO JAMAGE AND UNIFORM DEPTH: I did a quick burn test by driving 1.5" nails into 2" spruce. watch the video The gun never jammed and the nails were constantly driven in. -- ALL METAL NAIL SLIDE: Why is that important you ask? When I did the same test as in the video with a Hitachi nail gun, I blew through the bottom of the slide when the nail got stuck. See the attached photo which shows part of the film torn out during the jam. I mention this because Hitachi had a plastic nail guide and Wen had a solid metal nail guide. I feel a lot better when WEN just clears the jam instead of destroying the nailer. -- 360Β° ROTATION TRUNK: It's important to direct air away from you and the workpiece. See attached picture. Both for convenience and to prevent excess exhaust oil (yes, some of us add too many drops from time to time) from getting on the work piece. A few days ago I had to cover the head with a rag on another non-adjustable exhaust nailer to keep oily air out of the work. So this feature is important and I'm glad WEN included it. -- LOADED NAILS WINDOW: I love this feature. A quick look allows me to see the rest of the nails. - SOFT RUBBER GRIP: The handle is very soft for a comfortable grip and protects your hand from accidental shake when driving nails. -- AIR LEAK TIP: Not everything is perfect. When I connected the WEN to the air hose, a lot of air came out of the connector. WEN is supplied with a steel lead-in. I replaced it with a slightly different shaped brass inlet (see attached picture comparing WEN to the replacement) and the connection was tight afterwards with no air leakage. Conclusion: A great nailing device at a great price. The only minor issue was an air leak on the tip and it couldn't hurt to give it a 5 star rating. The only thing I can't judge is the durability and I'll report back after some use. Buy, you can't go wrong!
