It took all day and two trips to the hardware store to finally get it on the wall. The screws attaching the bracket to the TV didn't fit, some were missing. It took me two trips to the hardware store to finally get the right ones. There weren't any screws to attach to the wall either, but luckily I had a few to use. I bought a new mount but it looked like it had been opened previously so I don't know if they sent me a returned mount or if it was just poor quality control. I would send it back but it's upstairs and after all the trouble to get it there it won't come off. The instructions that come with it are very poor.
