I really liked the clear water from the kitchen sink. Goodbye water bottles! Unfortunately the upper has torn in two places at the seams and is now splashing water back and forth and sideways unless we keep the pressure really low. It took almost exactly 100 days before it stopped holding water. During this time I changed the filter twice. The Bluetooth app was fun, but we only used it for the first week. $40 for the system and another $20 for two more filters is only $60 for water for 3 months. We used to buy cases of 32 bottles every 5 days so I spent $64 at the grocery store. hahaha What an amazing saving. We have used it more often. 250 gallons of tap water is more than the 85 gallons of bottled water we would use. It's nice to be able to brew tea and Kool-Aid from plain water, which I haven't done with bottled water. Too bad it didn't last. Now I have to decide whether to buy another one or just go back to the bottles. Let me clarify the situation. This is a good seal where it connects to the faucet. The first mistake was that the lever stopped completely stopping the passage of water, so two streams came out. Then the screw on the filter cover will leak. Then the seam at the front edge opened up. Not that we turned the cold water knob to full throttle every time. Now I am not satisfied with my purchase. Would you buy a light fixture for your home that only lasted 3 months?
