I use this for all my woodwork!
I have these on the legs of some chairs and sofas I have built and also on some shelves. They attach perfectly to the underside of the 2x4 pine, I have two just in case. They prevent the wood from splintering when pulled or moved. I also use them as a replacement for some self-adhesive dining chair legs. You need a hammer to pound them! must be perfectly aligned or the nail will bend.
