Review on Maxpow 2 Tailgate and 2 Rear Window Glass Lift Supports Struts: Compatible with Suburban Tahoe / GMC Yukon 2000-2006 (4185 4557) by Justin Wehrman

I was able to replace the old factory struts for both the glass lift and tailgate on our 2005 Chevy Tahoe in less than 15 minutes. The MaxPow units felt a little longer than the factory stays, but that could be because the factory stays were badly worn from years of use. on the brackets while I lifted the heavy tailgate all the way up. If you are small you may need a ladder to get the tailgate high enough to complete the installation. Great quality and I will immediately buy them for other cars I own in the future!
