I bought this knife last year before the holidays. I'm throwing a birthday party for my husband who works for us and I also bake and cook a lot! I make all my meals by hand, using candied carrots and carrot salad, along with potatoes and yams. This makes my hands suffer. My regular "peelers" kept breaking down. Then I saw this one and ordered it. WOW! Does it deliver? Washes off effortlessly. (I like to use a vegetable peeler as you don't waste as much veg as you would with a knife.) I've used it and used it and it kept peeling like the first day. I've had it for a few months now and it works like a charm. My mother-in-law has never used a vegetable peeler so I bought her one for Christmas. (I also bought her a designer purse! LOL!) She always cleaned her skin with a knife, but she trusted me. (I converted her to a Shark steam cleaner and gave her a Dyson!) She knows I know my stuff. I also introduced her to "Coach". She called me after using this knife a few times and she just loved it. Her arthritis was troubling her, and the potato peeler made making homemade mashed potatoes, salads, and other meals much easier. She wanted to know where I ordered it from so I told her Revane that she wanted one for her best friend. Trust me, buy it, you won't regret it!
