Review on Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO Open Studio Headphones - High-Quality Sound for Professionals by Ijad Hayden ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

As a whole, I was satisfied with the results; hence, I will award it a score of five stars because, considering the cost, these are outstanding headphones. In case you were wondering, with regard to positioning, these headphones are easily among the best headphones ever made, if not the best headphones available right now. In conjunction with the suitable sound card, everything will be fine. However, in terms of volume from a PC, it works with volume sufficient for comfortable listening. I have the 250 ohm version, and the sound is exactly the same as that of headphones that cost five thousand dollars, even though I don't have a DAC or an amplifier. After connecting the necessary components, I can say without a doubt that these headphones provide excellent value in terms of sound for the money that they cost, and I would strongly suggest purchasing them with full confidence; despite this, not everyone is able to recognize the limitations of the product. Having this drawback: What can I say, I've been reading a lot about the difficulties associated with HF for a very long time. Well, a problem of this nature does in fact exist; I have certainly become aware of it; but, I do not comprehend the records that talk about "listening," "it is difficult to listen," etc. are you laughing? This occurs only at high volume, and it is abundantly clear that it does not reach the point of "cutting the ear," with or without the combine - this was not noticed. However, there are some compositions in which the letter "c" stands out, along with other sounds of high-frequency sounds. But the fact is that it is, and rather than being an advantage, it serves as a disadvantage. Personally, I adjusted the equalizer so that the treble was a little lower, and everything turned out great. However, if you don't want to deal with the equalizer in any way, and you don't intend to put up with issues regarding the treble, I don't recommend that you purchase it.
