Review on Walker 16384 Direct Catalytic Converter by Maurice Morris

Good. I bought this Walker 16384 Cat/Manifold for my 2006 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder. According to Revain Computer System and Customer Service, this item had to be fully compatible and an exact fit. INCORRECT! I can not tell you what a terrible ordeal this object has caused me And disinformation! This part will NOT fit and will NOT fit or is not made for my car (2006 Toyota Camry - 4 cylinder)! I delivered this part to my mechanic (fully licensed and 100% legal) and after he removed the old and faulty cat/collector he attempted to install this part and it was an absolute failure! It could not be installed because the top of the collector could not be properly aligned for installation. 5 mounting holes are not even remotely compatible! After further research and inquiries from multiple sources, it has been determined that this Walker will NOT fit in a 2006 cylinder Toyota Camry-4. The correct Walker part number is 16534, NOT 16384. So my mechanic had to reinstall an old and faulty coil/distributor and I had to pay a total of $235 for all the unnecessary work! It was 100% Revain's fault for incorrectly listing this item as compatible with my vehicle! Not Walker's fault, not my mechanic's fault, and not my fault! I had to call Revain and prove them wrong and after hours of talking to different departments and people I was finally reimbursed by Revain for the mistake that resulted in my lavish $235 bill! At first Revain just wanted to refund me for the wrong item they sold me (which I returned) but after proving them the whole situation and their mistake and error they finally refunded the money I should have paid my mechanic . If you give the mechanic the wrong part to work with, they are not responsible and should be paid for the time and labor expended. If he supplies the part himself, this is his fault and responsibility. So I'm back where I started and now I need to buy the correct part number to get this repair done! I warn you all against purchasing this item for your 2006 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder! I hope this review will save you from the horrible ordeal I had to go through!
