My friend dropped his bolt with disastrous results although there was no visible damage. My old Garmin has two good body bells so mistakes happen and this little ring should help keep my bolt alive. It's not as snug as I expected, but the device goes in easily and the buttons work well through the lid. In fact, the case actually makes the side buttons work better for me. The lid seems to distribute the power beneficially. I was looking at another similar cover on the Revain for the Bolt, but it looked a bit thinner and smoother and kept the nice lines of the original case.
