Pros: Really tiny, kind of fits on a breadboard. Works at smaller currents. Cons: I've been trying to control a digital LED strip and while the module seems to work fine, it gets very hot. I can smell heat after about 1 minute of continuous operation (at 5V, 1.45A). The other, driving the ESP32 and audio player/amplifier module, works well without getting hot. The ESP/Audio setup draws between 10mA and 30mA (I haven't tested the audio output though. Most likely the results will be the same). They also have low levels of high-frequency noise, although they are not. problem in most cases. If you just need a tiny module to power something that draws little power, this is perfect. If you need more power, get something more powerful.
