Fast Wireless PTZ Camera

Due to the recent increase in crime, I have bought many different cameras to protect my property. Just so you understand that not all IP cameras are used for all applications, some are used for detailed areas and others for more general areas and when the camera is visible it helps deter anyone who might be a thief by looking just move on to the next house. I bought this camera because of the similar functionality with my really expensive camera. It does everything, but only at a lower resolution. 3 MP was more than enough for the area I shot with this camera. I had a bit of an issue with this as the wi-fi just wouldn't connect, after playing with it for a few hours I found that this particular camera needs to be set up with a wireless system that DOES NOT HAVE A SPECIAL CHARACTER IN THE PASSWORD . Ex. ( !@#$%^&*()_+) So to be clear my password had (!) and once I removed that character it connected fine. I emailed the seller telling them they should include this step in the setup guide or write a script in the program so that when you type a special character, a popup message says you're not using one be able. This will save other buyers of this camera a great deal of disappointment and possibly return the camera as defective. Once connected the camera works great, it syncs directly with my NVR system so I can always record 24/7 without using the SD card option as a local storage device. However, if you're using this as a standalone system, I highly recommend you buy it. Adjusting all the settings was very easy and once you tweak it to your liking the camera performs like a champ. I've also found that testing, which involves making sure your camera is placed as close as possible to the base wireless router for the best connection, got me a very long way to where I should have plugged it in, so my Wi -Fi a little unstable so I just swapped out the camera from another and hardwired it to the ethernet connection and I was ready to go. The mobile app works great and is very easy to install. To view the camera from a remote web server, as a web viewer you can control the camera, change settings, and view and record footage from any nearby computer. Image quality was on par with a 3-megapixel camera, and colors and clarity were vibrant and lifelike. The 4x zoom is also good and clear. Note. Someone posted a review stating that the camera does not support ONIF even though it is listed as supported in the product specs. Well I had no problem connecting the camera with ONVIF configuration. I have to assume that this person is unfamiliar with IP settings. (just my 2 cents). Night IR works very well and videos and images are sharp and clear. The installation was very easy as the camera is very light and can be installed anywhere without building a large house. I think you will find that this camera is worth the money. If you have any questions about the camera, I will do my best to answer your questions or concerns. Many Thanks.
