My 30 day return period has expired. And during those 30 days, I struggled with devices communicating with the key and Home Assistant. These are the 3 items you need to check to understand why something isn't working. I've had varying degrees of success coding, testing, and debugging. But nothing is stable. I ended up finding hundreds of complaints on the Home Assistant forums about this device being unreliable and the manufacturer ignoring all support requests. This is TERRIBLE as I have invested heavily in Aqara devices that only work with this dongle's Zigbee protocol. I hope I can find a way (hack) to get them to talk using the GoControl button. So far I've lost nearly $500 in wasted investment money turning on the damn lights!
