How much money could they possibly save by not aligning them? they come in 2 rolls, one with one side and one with the mate. the adhesive is meh. however, I did add the soft ones to the inside of the door to the refrigerator because it was loud to shut and that helped a great deal.; All in all, they are pretty good, not sure I would purchase them again because they are so hard to section pieces off. which might not be an issue for others.
