The installation went perfectly.
The engine looks reliable, not a "cheap" fake. The impeller has helical tips, which increases its efficiency. The motor does not come with the 2 6-32 nuts needed to attach it to the fan frame, but the nuts removed from the old motor worked fine. The direction of rotation and the position of the fan shaft matched my existing motor, so I didn't have to reverse the rotor. The whole installation was as easy as I had hoped.
