but am disappointed by the made in china part

I guess it will be OK for the price, but am disappointed by the made in china part . I just wish sellers could at least be honest. If it is made in china, don't advertize made in united states like this add said, which is false advertizing, which is a lie. I for one, look at things like that and sometimes make decisions based upon where made. All edges are sharp a a knife and will have to tweak before using. I try to give blood at the red cross, not in the shop.

this is better made than the stuff you get at the local box store. It might not be a Starrett, but still good quality. the center finder and combination finder (45*) is pretty standard, a little heavier than some. the protractor is pretty robust. the numbers are easy to read and the action is more than acceptable for smoothness when adjusting the angle.
