Absolutely no glue!
Luckily I had carpet tape because it is absolutely wrong that it advertises self-adhesive, Not true! Very slippery on the bottom, a bit of static electricity, that's all. This is a soft, thin carpet material that's a bit cheaply made, but I hope they last at least a few months, but I didn't hold my breath. If you're looking for something permanent, don't get this! This is a good example that you get what you pay for. Once you figure out how to glue them they look fine at first, but unfortunately I think this is a very temporary fix.
