chair is ok - the fabric wicker had a damaged spot of wear but assembled at the moment - so a bit crazy it's through the Box damaged but didn't notice the damaged area until this morning. . It was easy to put together about twenty to thirty minutes. Just look carefully at the instructions, two different sized screws - there was an Allen key in the kit and that's all I used. The base is real chromed metal. You have to get up from the chair to pick it up. The chair is a fairly good size - feels very roomy. The seat is comfortable. This is an ordinary office chair. The wheels seem ok - stumbled across the same chair at the show and it was around 289.00, on Amazon it was around 180. Wish it was closer to 150. Indeed looks like fabric compared to that Leather type I had before. I weigh a little less than 3/4 my weight and have plenty of space around me. . My bed and this chair are the most used furniture in the house. It serves me in my small apartment as a dining room chair, desk and TV chair. so let's see how it holds up. I feel like I got what I paid for. It's not a fancy piece of furniture, but an ordinary office chair for rounder people.
