Let me start by saying that this system is light and fibrous. The setup is quite simple and can be done by one person. I bought extra stops to make it easier to attach to the hood and trunk. Otherwise, you'll have to look for something to attach those straps. While driving, I was able to cruise on the freeway and go 70 mph with no trouble shifting or anything. I did notice the belt loosening a bit after riding for a while, but that didn't cause any problems and it was very easy to pull it up and get in my way. I would recommend this for those looking for an affordable roof rack system for their kayak.
