Quickly overheats when welding and soldering

After using it twice within ten seconds, it will overheat. I wanted to send it back but it worked again. I turn it off after each use so I'm surprised it overheats. Anyway I think you get what you pay for. I will keep it until I can afford a better brand. I really liked that it comes with large shrink bags because they are perfect for my body butter jars. I have no idea what heat shrink tubing can be used for, but I think it's good that it exists.
