I bought these as an inexpensive replacement for our Malibu flashlights which our dog loved to chew and destroy. Buying a complete Moonray kit was cheaper than buying spare parts for a Malibus. I had to run the shaft 100 feet so I bought an additional 50 feet of wire from my local Lowes store. Installation wasn't too difficult, some lights required careful alignment of the pins to the wire or a bit of stripping as mentioned in other posts, but no hiccups. About a week later I installed LED lights that I bought from another Revain supplier as we had other LED lights on our patio and pool area and I wanted them to match and the lower current draw of the LEDs would suit one require less transformer consumption with an additional 50 feet.
