This was the first time I used PVC rim tape, before that I used rubber or tape. This product is very good and there is no reason to go for anything more expensive. I was in dire need of 700C road bike rims and the tape felt very tight when tightened, so I warmed it up in hot water first to get the extra elasticity of the material. It used to be the perfect width for my rim. Just realized I didn't specify 26" or 700C and apparently ordered 26" to explain the fit. You can see the extra stretch in the valve hole, but from a functional point of view protecting the hose won't be a problem. The 8 strips were loosely packed in a zip bag along with tire levers (nice bonus). Given the low cost, this was not a disadvantage. Simply fold or roll up unused storage strips and your parts box will be neat and tidy.
