I use that for our maple syrup! I hate pouring from cans because it sloshes all over the page and it's hard for me to control how much comes out so I'm wasting my syrup. The bottle doesn't run down the sides because the spout isn't on the rim. The syrup goes into the cap. A little rough but much better than sticky cans and very easy to clean. The syrup flows well from the spout and isn't too thick for this bottle.
