I've just suckled and breastfed my baby so this bad boy is saving my life because I'm ALWAYS thirsty. I like my water to be ice cold, so following the advice of some other reviewers, I fill it up about two or three inches with water and then put it in the freezer overnight. In the morning I close the lid, fill it to the brim with tap water, and then enjoy ice cold water all day. The mug seems to stay cool and doesn't really "sweat," which is great because I hate puddles of water on the countertop. The lid is a little tricky to take off and put on, but there's a trick from another reviewer. (check it on the 72oz version page) it helped. Shift your weight onto the lid and hold it as tight as you can, then with your other hand pull the handle clockwise and it will pop open. hand over. The trick I found is to start on the opposite side so it ends up where you want it when you screw it in.
