I needed a broom and dust pan and I had a similar set in my camper van so I was alert when this one turned up. I decided to try it and see how I like it. Delivered unassembled in a box as shown in the first photo. There were some bristles shed from the broom, but not in great numbers. The simple instructions make assembly easy and once all the parts are screwed in by hand they are pretty solid. The shovel stands firmly on the ground or can be closed so that it can be hung on a hook. The broom is placed in the holder on the handle and forms a beautiful set. The only thing I didn't like about this set was that the broom handle seemed very long for a small broom and frying pan set, so I took out one of the pieces and it fit my needs perfectly. If you want to use it for larger jobs, leave a section in the broom and have a longer-handled broom for taller people or higher floors, or more reach if you need to climb to the ceiling for cobwebs in the fall. A few bristles fell out of the broom, but nothing made me doubt the quality. I was a little confused by the "fingers" or teeth on top of the dustpan, but found this to be a nice feature when sweeping crumbs into the dustpan, grabbing dog hair and dust off the bottom of the broom. bristles and keep them clean. I like it! It was a feature I didn't even know I needed, but now I love it. Who knew a broom could use a good comb? I like that the dustpan is really level with the ground so all the clutter goes in. I also like that the dustpan stays in place while sweeping. The other pans I've had require me to lean on something and then find where it fell to use the shovel. This one just sits where you put it, waiting for me to sweep my dust pile in. It seems pretty solid, light steel, but the joints are plastic so I don't know about durability. It fits snugly and doesn't wobble, so I really hope this set will last me for many years to come. I would recommend this one.
