Wow I've ordered magnet holders from Fonken and Bestek before, they're cool but this thing is hardcore! It's big (long neck), flexible and has a tensioner to fix the angle of the phone, all I wanted. The magnet is much stronger than my other magnet holders and holds my iPad Air with no problems (I put all the metal plates under the case to get a good cover). This is a disadvantage of others, they weigh little and rise when you try to disconnect the phone. Also the base/neck is really secure (solid, well built) as well as the neck. I don't use it in the car - I have it on a smooth surface and it's difficult to remove and reposition because the suction cup is sticky. So until it gets a little dirty and loses its stickiness, it won't move if you stick it anywhere. I see they added that stickiness so you can stick them to rocky surfaces like you would in a car. There's also a second suction cup position to click if you're using it on a rough surface. I think this thing will really stick to almost anything. I bought three pieces to stick in different places, for example in the bathroom mirror.
