Packed Great! Assembly was easy until... oh look, the brass z-bar support bushings on either side are loose. The screws are ready to fall out! So I tightened them but NO, they are loose because when tightened the Z-bar gets stuck and doesn't rotate AT ALL! So I had to bend the bracket to the right angle to allow the X-Gantry to raise and lower freely with the screws tightened. But it's still WRONG! The next step in wiring is easy, right? …….NOT… So I got to the part where I needed to connect the SubD extruder cables to the Z-Rod Gantry. Oh look, the bracket isn't the same as in your YouTube video! The mount has no flange or hole for attaching a cable tie. See attached photos. After trying to get it working I decided to drill a hole to attach the cable. See attached photos. I've watched the Hictop D3 build video on YouTube about 4-5 times and the Z-Rod mount is quite different from your YouTube Hero D3 video. So the next step in the video is to adjust the distance between the extruder and the build plate. Easy-Peasy is right…….NO Both the glass platform and heated build plate are curved in the middle making it impossible to level the platform! I contacted Hictop support and now…. They offered NO support. They told me to buy a new Glass Build Plate and leave the Z-Rod screws loose. I'm willing to send it back to Revain for a full refund! Bad, bad, bad product and even WORSE support! FYI, I'm not exactly a newbie. I've owned a Creality CR10-S4 for a year with no problems. I just wanted to try my hand at dual-color two-tone extrusion.
