Review on πŸ”Œ Makita XCV13Z 18V X2 LXT Cordless/Corded HEPA Filter Dust Extractor/Vacuum - Tool Only by Karen Gupta

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Overpriced wet and dry vacuums

I have a lot of Makita tools and has been happy with them so far. The vacuum cleaner does not have enough battery power and the battery life is short. They'll just die sitting in a vacuum. Better wired performance but not as good as my Festool vacuum which was cheaper. It does not have an auto on/off switch for use with a tool such as a grinder and will not work with an aftermarket auto on/off switch. Makita knows about hand tools but has no idea about vacuum cleaners.

Pros
  • Up to 65 minutes of continuous use on low settings and 30 minutes on high settings with two 18V LXT 5.0Ah BL1850B Lithium Ion batteries (batteries not included)
Cons
  • No power
