Review on Convenient and Safe Katziela Pet Carrier with Removable Wheels - Ideal for Small Dogs and Cats, Airline Approved, Telescopic Walking Handle, Mesh Windows and Safety Leash Hook by Debra Hernandez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good price.

Now that I have flown twice with this airline I can write an honest review. Firstly, remember that I flew on a delta and had the main cabin MD88 and MD90. All in all, this is a great carrier. I took a 17 lb Bichon and a 14 lb Maltese and they were quite comfortable. The wheels help a lot, the telescopic handle is ergonomic, well ventilated and manoeuvrable. I didn't use the shoulder strap because I felt more comfortable with the travel handle. Pros and cons below and why it lacked 5 stars. Pros: * Comfortably fits 2 small dogs. * Fits under the seat pretty well (to be honest these airlines have restricted legroom anyway and I don't think it sticks out any more than my purse). So yes, it fits. * Well ventilated. * There was a decent bag that I put her lines and harnesses in. * The telescopic handle is ergonomic and very comfortable. * The carrying handle is sturdy to maneuver them. lie comfortably side by side during the flight. * Caster wheels make it easy to move around the airport. * The door is easy to open and open, and it is very easy for dogs to get in and out. * The included pillow seems comfortable and is attached to the stretcher with Velcro. * The base of the wheels opens and easily attaches to fit under the seat (needs to be removed to get under the seat) * Very light overall. Cons: * When 2 dogs grab the telescoping handle, it easily tips over as they lean out of the base and bear the weight. So sometimes it worked better to just spin them with an attached crank with a better center of gravity, especially when you're in a hurry.* Only 2 wheels spin. Not as easy to maneuver as a four wheel suitcase. I think the wheels could be improved and with the trunk being so foldable the wheelbase can afford to be wider for more support and agility. * Has 4 small pockets on the sides that seem pretty useless. Suitable for small toy, treat or poop bag rolls. That's all. * only available in black. Wish there were more colors.* The telescoping handle is a bit difficult to pull out and put back in. You have to find the "right" angle. Overall, the price for the quality definitely speaks for 5 stars. I have other carriers that are better built, more expensive but less manoeuvrable and less manoeuvrable. These guys did a good job. If it rolls easily like a four-wheeled suitcase and a walking stick with cool colors, it would definitely get 5 stars. I would highly recommend this carrier to anyone. With both my puppies and the carrier it weighed 41 pounds and despite the list of cons I had little trouble handling it. Otherwise I'd say that's a lot compared to others. I'd say 35 pounds fits in easily. But no longer than 26 inches. It may be that it can be slid, but then there may be problems installing under the seat. I've been waiting to write a review after using it several times. Airlines will give you trouble because it looks big. But I think the photos show that it fits perfectly under the seat without the wheels. And I also used a shoulder strap to roll it off center so it doesn't lean as much.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not satisfied
