I really wanted to like this afterglow controller. It looked cool with a transparent body and blue backlight. But it just didn't last long. The first one I bought (Walmart) got stuck in my games after I plugged it in. That's never happened, ever. Then it broke after 6 months of use. Luckily Wal gave me a full refund and I tried my luck at Revain. The biggest problems with this second controller: - The controller does not turn on the PS3 console when you press the PS3 button. Very annoying. - The controller is made of hard plastic, not soft plastic like the original PS3 controller, so it started hurting my hands after a while. - The R2 button got stuck even though the button was up - The R3 stick broke Other things I didn't like: the cost of batteries that had to be changed every month. And when the battery is low, a red light will flash, which can be annoying at times. As a result, this second controller only lasted 4 months. The company (PDP?) said they would replace it as it was under warranty but I didn't want anything else. I wanted my money back. They wouldn't. Revain eventually gave me a partial refund and charged me a restocking fee. So I lost money on a trade and I didn't have a controller.
