I am really very impressed with these Scrubex Heavy Duty cleaning pads. At first I thought they were very thin and figured I would get salvation because of that. But since the scrub is on both sides, it's not exactly your main dishwashing sponge. It is for cleaning purposes only. The little piece of sponge in the middle contains some soap, but because it's so thin it's a lot easier to clean. So I don't think they were just cheap and didn't want to make the sponge thick, I think they did it on purpose to make it easier to clean and more flexible. I've used it on quite a few surfaces so far with great results. And they seem to last a lot longer as the sponge isn't too thick, it dries faster and also doesn't hold as much bad odors. Overall I'm really impressed with them!
