Video quality seems OK but with a lot of noise (grain). The material of the chamber is plastic. Mine arrived with a broken inner bezel but was able to test video quality. The power cords are very thin. Proximity lines cannot be disabled (this can be a plus or a minus for other people). I had to go back to amazon.com. I didn't check the water resistance as I didn't install it on the car. I will definitely not recommend this camera to friends and family. If you're on a budget and need something one-off, this can help.
