I had these on a 2015 GTI but a woman counted them a week ago. Got 2017 and bought the same set for it and I just installed it. It took about 15-20 minutes total, but this was the second time I installed them. I used standard screws which work great. The front kit is easy to fit, just rotate the tires to get good access to the bolts (I think you need a Torx T5 bolt for the standard VW bolts). The rear wheel is tricky so I added photos to show how I did it. It was easy with my method. Although the first time a little longer.
