Hello! I bought 4 different DLP Link Active 3D glasses thanks to Revain Free Returns. I just wanted to share my findings as they are definitely not the same! For reference, I tested it on a Monoprice 120-inch 4K UHD projection screen (White) placed about 9 feet from the screen. If you have a smaller screen or are sitting further away from it, the viewing angle might not matter. My projector is a Vava DLP Ultra Short Throw, so this review should be relevant for any DLP projector with 3D.-- - ---- --- --------------------- Boblov The best in my opinion is Boblov ($40 for 2 packs): https://smile.amazon. com/gp/product/B07BMQ36DD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They had the widest field of view, which was a big problem for the Apeman and Tourmei goggles. frame, you will see the dark area around the edges turn green. This means that the active shutter did not work at the edge of the field of view. In addition, the Boblovs had the opportunity to switch the polarity of the lens. This is very important as Vava does not yet allow you to change the polarity on the side of the projector. Since the nose bridge on these Boblovs is very low, it also fits my regular glasses so they work quite well with them. ---------------------- -------- -------------UltraClear's UltraClear Goggles were next: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KUIYUP8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They actually had a slightly wider field of view than the Boblovs and generally the highest image quality. However, they don't allow reversing the polarity and for some reason they use the wrong polarity by default which means I had to wear the glasses backwards! So it was a non-starter. If Vava ever allows you to switch polarity in software, this is what you will get.------------------------------ - -- -----Apemans & Tourmeis Finally I tried Apeman & Toumei glasses: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H9TZHZ4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://smile . amazon .com /gp/product/B07PQFCGD1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Both suffered from the poor field of view issue mentioned above, so I can't recommend them unless your screen is much smaller than 120 inches or you sit much further.--------------------------------------------------------- -- ------- ----- Final Thoughts All 4 of these glasses (and all active 3D systems in general I believe) suffered from inconsistencies with time-lapse scenes, i.e. when something is moving fast, such as a character, running towards you, the 3D effect no longer works as frames are presented to each eye alternately. You can google "active 3D glasses"incoherence" for more info. If anyone has any suggestions on how to minimize this, I'm always up p! Also, the brightness drops with every 3D Glasses considerably and I would say the Vava still isn't bright enough to really capture 3D even with a white screen.Nonetheless I hope this helps!Overall I liked the 3D and I think it's worth it since the glasses are quite cheap.avatar was very interesting to revisit 3d.
