I insisted more than a week and it didn't work. We have ruled out any serious health issues in my 12 year old kitten. He has had runny stools (probably related to IBS) his entire life (he was a SPCA kitten). We have it on hypoallergenic quality feed (Natural Balance duck and peas). He tolerates any wet food better (feces are only runny, no puddles) but he is too skinny with no chunks in his diet. In addition to vet care, I've tried rice, squash, 24 hour fasting, frequent feedings, infrequent feedings, baby food, homemade food, yogurt, probiotic powder, fiber and most recently this. My cat clearly has major issues in this area, so maybe this will work for others. Luckily he always uses his tray, it's just very annoying to pick it up: I just ordered Pro-Pectalin diarrhea gel, maybe it will help him.
