Part one of two so I can finally convert my laptop's HDMI port to a Cintiq Pro. Works great. Thank you Star Tech for ridiculously not including or even recommending Cintiq to help their customers! Thanks to you I don't have to return the $900 device. In order for the most common connection (HDMI) to work with the Cintiq pro you must obtain this part number: DP2MDPMF6in and this part number: HD2DP by connecting them together. I know it seems ridiculous to make so many connections and it adds more cables which is counterintuitive, but this worked for me and the other four solutions didn't. Good luck and thumbs up to Cintiq for not including these articles and tech support without mentioning that there is a fix.
