Not the same as original.
This is not the same mirror as the original. Although the fit is very snug and the clarity is excellent, this mirror shows a real image, while the original once shows a wide-angle image to include more objects, allowing you to see your surroundings better (about 20% more). If you agree with that caveat, that's a lot, as it's a third of the price of the original.
