This scooter rides well, but I’m not convinced it will last as long as the ones our other kids use. They have Micro Kickboards—our eight year old has had his for five years, and it’s still going strong, even after much kid abuse. That said, this scooter is half the cost of that one, and is being ridden by a very reserved three year old. Even so, the deck on this is pretty flimsy, and we’re really disappointed the wheels don’t light up as much as we thought they would. It was a big reason why we selected this particular scooter, but the display is minimal.We also hoped the scooter came with some type of warranty, but the instruction sheet lists nothing, so we can only assume there isn’t any. At least the Micro Kickboards come with two year warranties. For now our little girl is happy just to join her brothers, and she’s quickly learning how to lean and steer on this very lightweight scooter.
