Very nice cruet. Got some style. Tried full size glass bowls, tall and thin, and loved the style until I bought these. The size is perfect for making butter. I leave it on the counter and it's small enough not to take up too much space and makes a nice decorative piece too. I wanted something to cap the zudok and looked at a few options at the store but the cap works very well. It's easy to seal and remove. I don't actually push the cork, just stick it in place and it seals just enough. The small metal ring at the top can help if you push the cork in too hard. I add canola oil and the bottle has a nice green tint from the color of the oil. The jar is fairly clear, but the presence of oil in it will reflect the color of the oil. They can also be used for any liquid. When I first poured the oil, it dripped a little on the outside. I better start watering so that it does not drip. They lie very comfortably in the hand and are much more comfortable than large vessels due to their small size.
