This is an adapter for connecting HDMI or VGA cables to the USB-C port. 5 inches. The cable ends with a USB-C connector. The adapter has 4 ports: HDMI, VGA, 3.5mm audio-out and USB-C for charging. The device was made in China. I find this adapter very useful for my projector bag. This adapter allows me to connect USB-C computers (Mac or Windows) to my projector using either HDMI or VGA. With the adapter you can even connect 2 video devices at the same time, e.g. B. a projector and a monitor. I thought I could use it as a replacement USB-C to 3.5mm audio adapter, but I haven't been able to get the audio port to work yet. My computer just doesn't recognize it as a sound output function. The video ports work perfectly. The USB-C port on the device is for charging only, this is a pass-through charger for laptops that have a USB-C charging port and no other ports. In general, the video portion of this adapter works fine, but I couldn't get the audio port to work.
