UPDATED: Great product, cleaning guide for delicious coffee.

UPDATE: April 2020 - After almost 4 years of heavy daily use this coffee maker is still working. We've cleaned it a few times and haven't had any issues or issues with it. I would like a direct connection to the water mains, but otherwise no complaints! Well done Keurig!================= September 2016: I was a bit skeptical at first because our previous Keurig 2.0 only lasted about 13 months (of course right after the warranty expired) but I'm usually a fan of buying "commercial" quality products for their durability - the adage "go big or go home" deserves heed! So we're a little less than a week on our honeymoon phase with this brewery, but I find it's much better made than the previous Keurig we've had, and it also seems to brew a little faster. I decided to address an important point that some others have complained about: [TASTER] When I buy a product that will be used for drinking, eating, etc. I always wash it first, I'm sure almost everyone does does. After reading that some people had a bad plastic taste in their coffee and couldn't get rid of it, I went to work with my eyes wide open. Some experience of hygiene practices, here are the steps I took to eliminate this taste issue. Be prepared, it will take some time but it will be worth it in the end. Step 1: Fill the tank with hot water, leaving room for about 3 cups of "other" liquids. Step 2: Finish filling the reservoir by adding 1/2 cup regular bleach [unscented!] and 2-1/2 cups distilled white vinegar. Step 3: Soak until the water cools. Step 5: Fill tank 3/4 full with filtered or bottled water and add 2 cups distilled white vinegar. The tank is empty. Step 7: Begin to fill the tank with filtered or bottled water and repeat step 6. Step 8: Repeat steps 6 and 7 above until you no longer smell vinegar in the hot water in the cup. By now you should have a cup of hot water with no vinegar smell and no plastic smell at all. about 20-25 cups to process mine, I didn't actually count but calculated based on how much water I spilled through them. Now I look forward to great coffee - as always, the first step to a good cup of water is to use filtered or bottled water, as tap water is high in calcium and other substances that can ruin coffee flavor. Enjoy! Hope this helps others with their new car!
