Disappointed with the description on the product page.
I received this adapter for my mother's laptop and unfortunately this product had problems contrary to the description. Firstly, contrary to what is shown on their product page https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HS2OU5Y/, the included CD is a mini-disc which will not work in their MacBook's slot-load drives. Second, after downloading the latest installer from the manufacturer's website, burning it to a regular CD, and installing the driver, the adapter is still not recognized. I checked the StarTech website and there is no helpful information on how to get it working. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere,
