Review on 👜 Vanerdun Genuine Leather Carry Case: Waterproof, Anti-Scratch & Lightweight Protective Cover for Airtags Bluetooth Tracker Locator (Blue) by Smiley Edwards

After looking at a selection of third party Airtag keychains, this keychain felt like real leather. I checked others. Much closer to the original Apple skin that I can compare something to. Besides being priced much more fairly than Apple for the size of the item, it also comes in purple, which Apple doesn't offer, which is the color of my daughter's wallet. .Upon closer inspection, it looks like real leather and the grain is very beautiful. I think it will patinate nicely. Other reviews complained about the flimsy clasp and poor quality key ring that came with it; The key ring is very cheap and should probably be replaced immediately. But as for the latch, it's actually a magnetic latch, not one that you press and actually hear a 'click'. The magnetic closure means it's naturally a little loose but feels very nice. It is very easy to open, but also closes without any effort on your part. Therefore, you are unlikely to lose the Airtag from your skin because even if it catches on something and opens, it will close again immediately. The fact that it's only open on one side so you can't show your engraving. Side and the Apple logo will please or disappoint at the same time, depending on the person's preferences. I find this a bit disappointing as the Airtag had my daughter's initials engraved on it. But at the same time it shows a beautiful skin texture that I love and appreciate. I think I prefer this way. For me the biggest problem with this product is the ease of installing the airtag in the skin. I think in those early batches they didn't have a real airmark that could be verified by molding and curing the leather. Assuming they did a very good job of getting him very close. But inside the skin, it is loosened, which allows the logo to move. For me this is not a big problem and I think it can be slightly improved in the next installment. For some people, this can make a world of difference if you want a logo or engraving to be prominently displayed. (See attached closeup photo) From what I understand they easily deserve four stars. If they can improve the fit and include a higher quality key ring to better match the quality of the beautiful leather; Then it would definitely deserve 5 stars. At its current $9.99 quality, I am happy and happy enough with my purchase that I intend to order at least one more. If they can fix the above issues, I think they'll easily make a few bucks more. I haven't compared them all but from what I've seen on Revain up to this date (6/3/21). I think this product is by far the best alternative to the rather expensive ($35) official Apple leather key ring.
