Review on XTRONS Wireless Bluetooth Diagnostic Supports by Ines Jones

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product works. It's weird but I'm happy.

When I first plugged in the adapter, it couldn't be detected by the head unit's bluetooth function. After several reboots, the head unit (TE706PL: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CPS731Y/) recognized the ODB2 scanner, but the scanner itself reported that it was not connected to the car's ECU (2000 Toyota Tacoma, 3.4V6 , automatic transmission). To check the sender, I turned it off in the main unit's menu and then connected it to my Chromebook's Bluetooth. I installed the Torque Lite app on my Chromebook and everything worked fine. So I plugged the ODB2 scanner back into the main unit, thinking I'd have to fix it there, but then it worked! I'm a little worried that when it starts working it might stop for the same reason, although I don't understand why. However, I believe I reinstalled the OBD2 scanner and/or the head unit incorrectly when I first started getting the errors. When connecting to a Chromebook, the connection between the OBD2 scanner and the head unit may reset correctly.
