. The upper part that goes under the arms is terrible. No matter how I use it, it still hurts. Not uncomfortable, but painful. The nylon straps are really wide and stiff like nylon straps and will cut straight into the skin even with a t-shirt underneath. The presence of Velcro straps contributes to this rigidity. The back support feels very good - I gave it stars - but the upper part around the shoulders and in the armpits doesn't make up for it. Even with adjustable straps, they still need to be tightened, which is painful. I couldn't wear it for more than 5 minutes or so. I've never used anything like this before so maybe they all feel that way and I just wasn't ready yet. I just have to give a little bit at the front of the armpit, then I think it will be ok.
