Excellent router. I bought this because I was tired of going to the garage to turn off my old WiFi router. It used to freeze and overheat. Not with that, it has been working stably for 2 years. Very stable, no connection loss or freezes. I've connected this to a couple of Unifi hotspots and my wifi is working great. All of my devices get an excellent Wi-Fi signal and stay connected until I exit the driveway. It worked so well that I bought another resume for my partner's house. He was always on video chat. He replaces. 500 Netgear wireless routers and couldn't be happier. Not a single failure. Not tech savvy, he managed to get it working, setting a password and updating the firmware without any difficulty. He just holds it in front of the TV. I mounted mine along with all other equipment or a patch panel, switches and cable modem in a sleek network closet, away from malicious hands. Optimum crashes from time to time. My wife keeps bugging me about turning off the router because that's what the rep always says first when you call. This was not necessary with this device. Returns immediately after a crash without rebooting. Whether you're a power user, prosumer, gamer, or geek like me, this router will serve you well.
