I read some of the negative reviews but ordered the heaters anyway. I was very impressed with the heaters and immediately ordered 6 more. I have been keeping aquarium fish for over 50 years. I've had many types of aquarium heaters, both expensive and not so expensive, but this little 100 watt heater keeps my Beta tanks accurate to within a degree or two and I've had no problems with them. Can't speak to their durability but the 8 I have now feels great.
