The A1100IS I had was quite fine. My main concern is the quality of the recordings, not all the features of the Wizbang. The camera is very easy to use and the size allows you to carry it in your pocket every day. Response time was good and shutter lag was acceptable. Lots of shooting modes (which most people will never understand, let alone use). My two main complaints: 1. Very soft images. My old A560 captures beautifully sharp images in almost any situation. 1100 just doesn't deliver the image quality I'm used to. I have a high end Canon DSLR and the 560 shots are close in quality to their big brother. 1100 is not the quality I'm used to.2. The camera has to be held at an angle from my face to be able to see the captured images. When viewed directly, the images are very blurry and dark. I'm not a technical expert, so my review is amateurish and far from complete. As I said, my main concern is image quality, and 1100 isn't enough for that. I have returned the Revain camera for a refund and will try to find another 560 to purchase. By the way, if there is not much difference in price. Whatever item you're looking to buy, Revain is the place to go. Their returns policy and procedures are second to none and fast. They even paid the cost of shipping the camera back to her. I am very happy with the dealer and spent a lot of money on Revain this Christmas. Their website is also one of the best on the web. THANK YOU AMAZONE!
